Emergence
The Becoming Series | Part III
Emergence is the final piece in The Becoming, and it feels like a deep exhale, like coming home to yourself after a long time away. This piece is a celebration of reclamation. Of freedom. Of becoming who we were always meant to be before the world told us to be anything else.
The rich green foundation is no accident. Green has always felt like life to me, not just growth, but renewal. It’s the color of the heart, and this painting pulses with it. It feels wild and alive, like something sacred finally waking up inside you. Where the first painting asked us to honor our hiding, and the second invited us to step forward, Emergence is what happens when we stop apologizing for our light. When we stop dimming it to make others comfortable.
The textures in this piece are softer but still grounded. There is strength here, but it’s not the kind of strength that comes from bracing, it’s the kind that comes from openness. The orchids in Emergence are no longer veiled. They bloom without hesitation, fully themselves. The crystals, aventurine for growth, emerald for the heart and abundance, quartz for clarity, were chosen to support that energy. They’re not just beautiful; they’re reminders of what we carry inside us already.
This piece is for anyone who has done the quiet, invisible work of healing. The work that no one sees. The work that changes everything. Emergence says: You made it through. You are no longer buried. You’re blooming now, not in spite of what you’ve been through, but because of it. Your light isn’t something to tuck away anymore. It is your sanctuary.
