Custom Commissions

A Painting Made For You, From the Earth Up

A commission with me is an intimate collaboration between your vision and my intuition. You tell me how you want to feel — the colors that move you, the crystals that call to you, the flowers that hold meaning — and I build something from the earth up that is entirely, permanently yours.

Every commissioned piece is made with the same care and intention as my original works. Real preserved botanicals. Real crystals. Organic textures layered by hand. These are not reproductions or variations of existing pieces — they are something new, made specifically for you and the space you want to transform.

This is for the collector who wants more than a painting. Who wants something that holds their story inside it.

Custom works begin at $1,000 for a 12"x12" piece and are priced based on size, complexity, and materials. Inquire below to begin the conversation.

How It Works

01 — Reach Out Fill out the inquiry form above with your vision — colors, feeling, any specific materials that feel meaningful to you. There are no wrong answers here.

02 — Consultation We'll connect to talk through your vision over a 30 minute zoom call; the space the piece will live in, and what you want to feel every time you walk past it. This is where the piece begins to take shape.

03 — Proposal & Deposit I'll send a custom proposal with sizing options and pricing. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your place and begin sourcing materials.

04 — Creation I get to work. If I need to source and preserve specific botanicals for your piece, this process begins immediately — natural materials take time, and that time is part of what makes the work meaningful. I'll keep you updated along the way.

05 — Completion & Delivery Once your piece is complete I'll share final photos before shipment. The remaining 50% is required before your piece ships. Every piece is carefully packed in a specially designed, thick cardboard box lined with multiple layers of corrugated foam to protect it in transit. For larger works I strongly recommend white glove delivery service — I'll discuss the best option for your piece during our consultation. The cost of shipping is often worked into the price for online orders.

FAQs

How much does a commission cost? Custom works begin at $1,000 for a 12"x12" piece. Pricing increases based on size, complexity, and materials. Because I work with real botanicals, crystals, and organic elements, each piece is priced individually. Reach out to receive a custom quote.

How long will my commission take? If I have your requested materials in stock, most pieces are completed within about a month. If you'd like a specific flower or botanical I don't currently have, I'll need to source and preserve it — that process takes approximately 2-4 weeks before creation begins. Because we're working with living natural materials, timelines can vary slightly and I always want to be honest about that upfront.

Can I request specific flowers, crystals, or colors? Absolutely — and I encourage it. Tell me what holds meaning for you. A flower from your garden, a crystal you've always been drawn to, colors that make you feel at home. The more you share the more personal and intentional the piece becomes.

Do you offer fiber optic lighting in commissions? Yes. If you'd like your piece to glow, we can discuss incorporating fiber optic elements during your consultation.

What if I don't know exactly what I want? That's completely okay — most collectors don't. Start with a feeling. Calm. Expansive. Like standing at the edge of the ocean. Like coming home. That's enough for me to begin.

Do you ship internationally? I primarily ship within the United States. For international collectors I'm happy to work with you to make it happen — reach out and we'll discuss the best options for getting your piece to you safely.

Is my deposit refundable? The 50% deposit is non-refundable as it covers the cost of materials sourced specifically for your piece and reserves time in my studio. The remaining 50% is due before your piece ships.

Will my commission look like your existing work? It will feel like my work — the same depth, the same organic materials, the same emotional intention — while being entirely unique to you. I don't recreate existing pieces. Every commission is its own living thing.

How do I care for my piece? Keep your piece out of direct sunlight to preserve the botanicals and avoid humidity extremes. Dust gently with a soft dry cloth. These pieces are built to last and the materials are sealed and protected — but like anything made from nature, they deserve a little care.

Will the flowers fade or deteriorate over time? Preserved botanicals are treated specifically to extend their life far beyond their natural state — but because they come from the earth, I want to be honest with you: I cannot guarantee how long they will retain their appearance indefinitely. What I can tell you is that I am intentional about which botanicals I use and how I preserve them, choosing materials that hold their color and form best over time.

With proper care — keeping your piece out of direct sunlight, away from high humidity, and in a stable environment — your botanicals should remain beautiful for many years. I'll always share specific care recommendations for your piece based on the exact materials used.

Part of what makes these works meaningful is that they're made from real, living things. That authenticity is also what makes them precious. They are meant to be cared for, the way anything rare and natural deserves to be.

Are the crystals genuine? Yes! I am lucky enough to live in a place with an abundance of crystal and stone resources. If you have any preferred sources, I am happy to work with them.

How do I know what the piece will look like in my space? I am happy to send you many photos and videos of your piece. And I can even provide a mockup of what the art will look like in your space specifically if you provide me a photo of the space.

Do you offer returns or exchanges? No. Due to the amount of time and emotional and spiritual energy put into every work, I do not accept returns or exchanges.

About me as an artist:

Are you a full time artist? Yes. I have been a professional artist for about 10 years now and I take my practice very seriously.

Do you take on a limited number of commissions at a time? Yes. Due to the amount of energy and time that goes into every piece, I typically only accept 1 commission at a time, which roughly translates to one per month.
